While our visit to Panama was mostly about relaxing, working on the blog, and travel planning for next year, we did find time to visit Lake Gatun and a place called Monkey Island.
A Little Rest and Relaxation in Chill Playa Coronado
After our weeklong visit to Panama City, we rented a car and headed west along the Pacific Ocean to Playa Coronado. We had a four-week rental in a swim-up 1 bedroom condo with unlimited golf, a gym, several pools, two restaurants, and a beach club.
Visiting the Dentist and the Old Town in Panama City
One of the places always recommended by International Living for retirement in Panama. Since we were looking for someplace warm and relaxing, we decided to check it out. After our super busy time in Europe and the US, we just wanted to catch up on personal work and chill out.
The French Connection, Part Deux (Exciting French Residence Visas)
Many people we meet discuss their issues with how long they can stay in the Schengen Zone, which covers much of Europe. For non-residents, the rule is that you can stay 90 out of 180 days using a rolling calendar otherwise you need a residence visa.
The Third Time is a Charm in Nice
Our main reason for heading into France was to attend our visa appointment at the Prefecture in Nice. That said, we lived in Nice for more than two months last year and we were anxious to visit some of our old haunts. We toyed with the idea of staying in and exploring another part of town but finally settled on staying in roughly the same neighborhood as we did before.
