Malta Hotels and History
We planned our visit to Malta as a rest week between Scotland and our tour of the Middle East. We wanted to catch up on work and get some downtime. But we arrived at our hotel after 9 pm and discovered that the place was a dump.
Scottish Highland Scenery, Castles and Whisky
The next stop on our roving retirement world tour was meant to be a free-form driving trip around Scotland, starting in Edinburgh. Our plan was to visit St. Andrews, the Whisky Country, the highlands, maybe the Isle of Skye and then leave from Glasgow.

Our roving retirement trip around the world took a detour to attend a Goble family reunion in Sussex. That gave us time to visit Windsor Castle, Cornwall, and Port Isaac home to Doc Martin.
