ADVENTURES, CHALLENGES, AND INSIGHTS OF A COUPLE IN EARLY RETIREMENT
The next leg of our trip around Argentina took us to El Calafate. But, while in Buenos Aires, we heard about the glacier and the beautiful country in that area and we started to get excited about our quick stop in El Calafate.
After two days of wine tasting and eating, getting outside and looking at nature was a refreshing change. We took a day trip to Aconcagua, a mountain in the Andes Range outside of Mendoza. What a spectacular sight.
The first stop on our organized tour of the highlights of Argentina started at Iguazu Falls. We were supposed to visit Iguazu Falls on our big trip (OBT). I’m so glad that we got a do over, it was definitely a highlight.
We hit the ground running in Buenos Aires because we were both excited about going to a place we had never been. Our trip consisted of a week in Buenos Aires and then a tour around the country.
In addition to planning the remodel, we did have plenty of time left to entertain some guests, see a local soccer game, have meetups with other expats, buy a new TV, and renew our visas. Of course, we also had to eat.
