While we typically start our ski season in California/Nevada at Heavenly in Lake Tahoe, this year we kicked ski season off with a visit to one of our sons in Denver. We spent the next four weeks in Colorado.
Beautiful Diving and Good Food in Playa del Carmen
Believe it or not, we actually did a few other things besides fixing the condo and entertaining friends and family. We told you about playing golf and some of our other activities. In this article we want to tell you about our experience diving. You’ll also notice that you haven’t seen any food from Playa because all of the food p*rn is in this article.
Return to the Bay Area and a Month in Scottsdale
As is customary, we returned from Spain to the Bay Area before we went to Scottsdale for five weeks. In this article, I’ll tell you about the interesting things we did in both places. Spoiler Alert: it involved lots of food. So this article is full of food p*rn. Enjoy.
Time For Other Things in Playa
In addition to planning the remodel, we did have plenty of time left to entertain some guests, see a local soccer game, have meetups with other expats, buy a new TV, and renew our visas. Of course, we also had to eat.
This Year’s Peaceful Colorado Adventure
After Las Vegas we made our way to Colorado to continue ski season in the Rocky Mountains. That meant more fun for me and more freezing for Diana, as her knee wasn’t up for the ski challenge. Hopefully, next year.
