ADVENTURES, CHALLENGES, AND INSIGHTS OF A COUPLE IN EARLY RETIREMENT
Phoenix is more than just a place to have surgery and recuperate. There are lots of things going on in town in the spring, namely spring training, so we were looking forward to catching a few while staying in the Phoenix area.
After we arrived in Phoenix at the beginning of February, it occurred to me that we would be in town for the Super Bowl and all of the hoopla. In addition, I discovered a huge golf tournament within walking distance of our apartment. Lucky me!
As in previous years, our winter ski season has included a trip to Park City. This year we decided to stay an extra week and fly, unlike previous years when we drove. This year’s visit to Park City also included entertainment and the excitement of the Sundance Film Festival.
As some of you know, we spend Christmas every year at our timeshare in Tahoe. It seems every year we have some kind of “adventure” during our Christmas holiday, and this year was no exception.
