Our desire to spend time in a warm place to recover from the cold and dryness of ski season took us back to lovely Puerto Vallarta (PV), Mexico. The first thing I was struck by on arrival was not just the warmth but the humidity, in a good way.

Vail Never Fails and Food Finds in Frisco
Our roving retirement took us to Frisco, Colorado for a week of skiing at a few different resorts, including Vail, using our Epic Ski Pass. We spent our time in typical winter fashion for us: skiing, travel planning, blog enhancement, and seeking out good food.
This Year’s Challenging Trip to Tahoe and Park City
Our family has been going to Lake Tahoe between Christmas and New Year’s for the last 15 years. After our ski week in Tahoe (this year only five days) we drove back to the Bay Area. After saying goodbye to the kids, we headed to Utah.
Resonating in the Mohave Desert and Golf in Palm Springs
For the first time in two and a half years, I was on my own for a full week of solo adventures. My primary reason was an annual guys golf junket in Palm Springs California. However, our golf clubs were in our storage box in Las Vegas, so I tacked on a quick trip to Vegas to retrieve the clubs before returning to Palm Springs.
