ADVENTURES, CHALLENGES, AND INSIGHTS OF A COUPLE IN EARLY RETIREMENT
The next stop on our tour of Africa was Amboseli in southern Kenya. Having already seen the tallest peaks in Asia, Europe, South America, and North America, I figured we might as well round things out by seeing the tallest peak in Africa.
Having recently returned from our third safari in seven years, it occurred to us that many of our readers haven’t had the chance to experience one yet. Over the years, we’ve accumulated a solid pile of practical knowledge that we want to share.
The next stop on our tour de Africa was finally visiting (and seeing) Victoria Falls. As most of you know there have been two failed attempts, described in Fall in Victoria Falls from 2019 and last year. I am ecstatic to report that I finally saw the falls.
Last you saw, we were in Granada. Getting to our next adventure in Botswana would take a few days and flights.
Today’s article covers a lot of ground, from Cordoba through Malaga and then to Grenada. We actually spent a little over a week on these activities but there wasn’t much to say about looking at rocks and visiting friends. So our focus for this week is on Grenada.
