In order for our roving retirement to work, we have to rove. As we all know, roving isn’t quite as easy now as it has been in the past. But it just isn’t practical for us to stay in the Bay Area for any stretch of time.
Time to Hit the Road Again
Since we became homeless and started our roving retirement, we have gotten into a mindset of moving around periodically. Now it seems to have become a compulsion because I get often antsy when we stay in one place for more than three weeks.

Our Trip to the US During Lockdown
Flexibility is the most important part of a roving retirement, especially during these unusual times. Since we don’t have a home, we must decide in advance where we are going and how long we will be staying. Our trip to the US now was primarily to see and look after our loved ones.
Until We Meet Again, France
We are in the sixth week of our Coronavirus lockdown in France. Actually, today is Thursday, April 30th, Day 45 of our not so roving retirement in France. The excitement for this week is our current plan to travel to the US next week.
