ADVENTURES, CHALLENGES, AND INSIGHTS OF A COUPLE IN EARLY RETIREMENT
Last year we spent more than 3 months in Scottsdale Arizona. This year we wanted to do some of the things that weren’t possible last year because of Covid and my limited mobility. One thing on our list from last year was going to the cowboy bars that abound in Cave Creek Arizona.
I wanted to go to Rochester New York last summer to finish setting up my son’s house, but due to Covid, that wasn’t possible. However, we were able to visit this year. So, I was finally able to see the house in person and happily realize my vision for the space.
We spent 3 months in Hawaii and thought we would write a “best of” article to provide a shortcut for those of you planning a trip to Hawaii. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, each island has something a little different to offer.
Our final few weeks in Oahu Hawaii had us visiting all of the famous sites. The highlights of our last week in the islands included a visit to Pearl Harbor, an island cruise and more Monkeypod Mai Tai’s.
Oahu was our final island to visit on our 3-month Hawaiian adventure. Instead of just telling you about the places on the island to visit, we thought we would start off by giving you our take on how Oahu feels to us.
