Believe it or not, we did some things in Playa del Carmen that didn’t involve work on our condo. We found ourselves with more free time and honestly, we haven’t really relaxed in Playa since we have owned the place.
Doing Even More Work on the Condo – Yes, More
Our latest stint in Playa del Carmen involved far more than our extensive kitchen remodel. First, we received our remaining items from long-term storage. Then, we took advantage of the help on-site to tackle a variety of smaller jobs around the condo.
Challenges Of The Kitchen Remodel – Success!
As many of you know, this was our third kitchen remodel and happily we learned a lot. The only difference this time was the construction methods used in Mexico, namely, everything is constructed with concrete. That complicated everything.
Having a Great Time Watching Football (Soccer), Opera, and Tango in Buenos Aires
Beyond Museums and Markets, our return to Buenos Aires included an opera, a soccer match, and a tango show. All of these were major events and required advanced planning, but totally worth it.
Hanging Out in Museums, Markets, and Recoleta Cemetery
On our return to Buenos Aires from Ushuaia, we planned to visit all of the must-do places we didn’t get to on our first stay in the city. We also decided to stay in Recoleta instead of Palermo just to check out another of the city’s recommended neighborhoods.
