Our roving retirement lifestyle typically involves some day trips to interesting places along with lots of venturing to local bars and restaurants. Since we are in Playa we thought we would tell you how to get around in this part of Mexico.
Too Many Choices
My musings on clothes and my style choices now that I have more clothes with me. Lots of people have mentioned that they couldn’t get along as we did on our trip with carry-on luggage.
Beach Day in Playa del Carmen
The beach scene in Playa del Carmen is a little unconventional because it is dominated by beach clubs, where you pay for a beach chair and you are captive for food and drink.
Bumpy Arrival in Playa del Carmen
We were excited to be headed abroad again. Being in roving retirement, we decided to spend the month of February in sunny, warm Playa del Carmen, Mexico, on the Riviera Maya, south of Cancun.
The French Connection (visas)
We have long wanted to spend a lot of our roving retirement in Europe and since both of us speak some French we focused on France. Of course, we are also interested in exploring Spain and Portugal all for more than 90 days at a time.
