Our roving retirement hasn’t been without its mishaps. Any time you travel, you could need a doctor for a sprained ankle, a stomach bug, or in my case, major orthopedic surgery. This article describes some of our experiences.
Fall in Victoria Falls
Roving retirement and around the world travel can be unpredictable. Ours had more than our fair share of excitement including a Medivac trip in Africa. I am definitely going to count that flight as one of our many on this trip.
Easy Peazy Zambezi
Our roving retirement tour of Africa took us from Nairobi Kenya to Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. We were here to see Victoria Falls and the Zambezi river with its elephants, hippos, and crocodiles.
Kenya – The Sublime Serengeti
Going on Safari was the most anticipated part of our roving retirement around the world trip. We couldn’t wait to experience the Serengeti in Kenya.
Recharging in Zanzibar
It turns out that roving retirement is very tiring, especially out three-week tour of the Middle East. So in order to recharge before our much-anticipated tour of southern Africa, we planned a week in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
