ADVENTURES, CHALLENGES, AND INSIGHTS OF A COUPLE IN EARLY RETIREMENT
For most of our gentle readers, the following yarn will simply be a diversion while you are enjoying your beverage of choice or perhaps waiting for a loved one to finish a doctor’s appointment. For others, it might give you an idea of what it takes to get a Temporary Mexican Residence Visa.
We have been on the road for four years now and each year we slow down a little more. Part of slowing down for us included finding a place where we could rest and recharge before our next adventure.
The last time we visited Playa Del Carmen in 2020 I was rehabbing my broken leg. My injury prevented us from really exploring the town. This time our visit is 8 weeks after my knee replacement. But I can unequivocally say, I’m much more capable of exploring on foot than I was before.
It turns out that there are lots of things to do in the Phoenix area. While we were there we made a short trip to Las Vegas, I went to Tucson, and in Phoenix there are always friends and relatives to see.
Even though we went to Scottsdale so Diana could have surgery, how long can you just sit around? Needless to say, we didn’t. We saw a NASCAR race, Marcia Ball, and the Phoenix Symphony.
