Beyond Museums and Markets, our return to Buenos Aires included an opera, a soccer match, and a tango show. All of these were major events and required advanced planning, but totally worth it.
Hanging Out in Museums, Markets, and Recoleta Cemetery
On our return to Buenos Aires from Ushuaia, we planned to visit all of the must-do places we didn’t get to on our first stay in the city. We also decided to stay in Recoleta instead of Palermo just to check out another of the city’s recommended neighborhoods.
Visiting Ushuaia, the “End of the World”
The final stop on our tour around Argentina was Ushuaia at the bottom of the world. Ushuaia is also the last point in South America for excursions to Antarctica.
Spending a Beautiful Day at the Magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier in El Calafate
The next leg of our trip around Argentina took us to El Calafate. But, while in Buenos Aires, we heard about the glacier and the beautiful country in that area and we started to get excited about our quick stop in El Calafate.
Visiting Aconcagua, the Tallest Mountain in the Western Hemisphere
After two days of wine tasting and eating, getting outside and looking at nature was a refreshing change. We took a day trip to Aconcagua, a mountain in the Andes Range outside of Mendoza. What a spectacular sight.
