During our extended stay in Bordeaux, we ventured out to taste wines in the Right Bank of this storied wine region for two days. Specifically, we wanted to visit the Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, and Fronsac appellations. We were not disappointed.
Bordeaux is divided into many different areas that most wine aficionados will have heard of, but we didn’t really understand the differences between them. Our goal in visiting Bordeaux was to learn about this wine region.
Our next and last stop in France was Bordeaux. The four weeks in town focused on learning about the wine regions, not just the town of Bordeaux. But we thought we would tell you about our stay and the town of Bordeaux first.
