A Day in the Company of Kings at Versailles
The Palace of Versailles is a must-see if you are anywhere near Paris. There are magnificent gardens with beautiful fountains and of course, you can tour the palace itself.
Commuting to French Language School on the Paris Metro
For us, riding the metro in Paris was a pleasure and a necessity because one of our main activities in Paris was going to French classes. So, I was looking for language schools while I was looking for apartments, but the quality of the school trumped the commute.
Parisian Bastille Day Celebration and Other Music on the Town
The concert and fireworks on the Eiffel Tower for Bastille Day were an incredible start to our Paris sojourn. In addition to the big splash on Bastille Day, there were many other opportunities to see live music and Paris and we endeavored to take advantage.
What Is Paris Like Now?
