This year during our roving retirement we spent Christmas until the beginning of March in the mountains of Nevada, Utah, and Colorado. Our intent was to ski in the US because we couldn’t ski in Europe as planned. We thought we would provide our impressions of our time in the mountains.
Beaver Creek and Never Fail Vail
We have skied at Beaver Creek and Vail every few years for the last 20 years. It was a treat to get back to one of our favorite ski haunts for a stop on our roving retirement Ski Colorado tour this year.
Hanging Out in Breckenridge and Frisco Colorado in the Winter
For anyone undertaking our style of roving retirement, this environment has been extra challenging. Back in January when we realized that returning to Europe anytime soon wasn’t in the cards, we decided to “winter” in Colorado.
Singing on the Slopes of Park City
As we did last year, our roving retirement took us to Park City, Utah in order to continue our skiing adventure. Many things are different this year, but fortunately, we can still ski in the US with precautions.
