We decided to spend a few weeks in Florida as the next step in our roving retirement. I've never been overly keen on visiting Florida, but I did want to see Key West and the overseas highway.

Birds and Alligators in the Everglades
In the ‘not Miami’ part of South Florida, the number one thing to do is to see the Everglades. It seems the entire lower 1/3 of Florida is empty except for swamps, birds, and alligators.
