ADVENTURES, CHALLENGES, AND INSIGHTS OF A COUPLE IN EARLY RETIREMENT
Our family has been going to Lake Tahoe between Christmas and New Year’s for the last 15 years. After our ski week in Tahoe (this year only five days) we drove back to the Bay Area. After saying goodbye to the kids, we headed to Utah.
This year during our roving retirement we spent Christmas until the beginning of March in the mountains of Nevada, Utah, and Colorado. Our intent was to ski in the US because we couldn’t ski in Europe as planned. We thought we would provide our impressions of our time in the mountains.
I have always said, never buy a timeshare in a resort that you wouldn’t want to visit every year. That’s because there is no guarantee you can trade it for something you want more.
