ADVENTURES, CHALLENGES, AND INSIGHTS OF A COUPLE IN EARLY RETIREMENT
We wrote an article last year Start Daydreaming Now, to help you plan your future. It could be your future retirement or it could just be daydreaming about your next trip. Either way, I can definitely tell you that life in this COVID-19 new reality is making any kind of planning difficult.
We are in the sixth week of our Coronavirus lockdown in France. Actually, today is Thursday, April 30th, Day 45 of our not so roving retirement in France. The excitement for this week is our current plan to travel to the US next week.
We have been on lockdown in France for so long that I’ve nearly lost count. To make matters worse, nothing happened this week worth writing about. But I managed.
Every day feels like Groundhog Day, we get up, make coffee, go for a walk or shop, practice French, watch the news, call Mike’s folks, call the kids, share funny things on Facebook, and cook dinner.
We are going into week four of our lockdown in France. Not much is happening here but we thought we would show you some of what we are cooking.
