As is customary, we returned from Spain to the Bay Area before we went to Scottsdale for five weeks. In this article, I’ll tell you about the interesting things we did in both places. Spoiler Alert: it involved lots of food. So this article is full of food p*rn. Enjoy.
Time For Other Things in Playa
In addition to planning the remodel, we did have plenty of time left to entertain some guests, see a local soccer game, have meetups with other expats, buy a new TV, and renew our visas. Of course, we also had to eat.
This Year’s Peaceful Colorado Adventure
After Las Vegas we made our way to Colorado to continue ski season in the Rocky Mountains. That meant more fun for me and more freezing for Diana, as her knee wasn’t up for the ski challenge. Hopefully, next year.

From Day Of The Dead to Tequila in Playa
Our stay in Playa during November and December was filled with celebrations, visitors, tequila, beach massages, touring ruins, and of course food.
