ADVENTURES, CHALLENGES, AND INSIGHTS OF A COUPLE IN EARLY RETIREMENT
Our latest roving retirement took us to Europe to ski, finally. We have been planning to ski in Europe for the last five years and we finally made it. Our Epic Passes from Vail include a 7-day lift ticket in the majestic Italian Dolomite mountains.
Our latest journey has taken us back to Europe for a much delayed European ski adventure. But before we could enjoy the skiing, we had to take care of some business. In all, it took us four days to get from the Bay Area to our hotel in the Dolomites.
After our week in Frisco Colorado, it was time to take our roving retirement a bit more north for new and exciting skiing and exploration. Our next stop, Steamboat Springs, which had long been on our ski hill wish list.
Our nest egg has to last for the next 30-40 years to fund our roving retirement lifestyle. Therefore, I spend a considerable amount of time thinking about and managing our money, generally, and minimizing taxes, specifically. Today, I have some timely information regarding Roth Conversion to share.
Our roving retirement took us to Frisco, Colorado for a week of skiing at a few different resorts, including Vail, using our Epic Ski Pass. We spent our time in typical winter fashion for us: skiing, travel planning, blog enhancement, and seeking out good food.
