For the past month, we have enjoyed living in Nice. Our time has been spent walking to and from French language school, usually stopping at the market on the way home.
Our Trip to the US During Lockdown
Flexibility is the most important part of a roving retirement, especially during these unusual times. Since we don’t have a home, we must decide in advance where we are going and how long we will be staying. Our trip to the US now was primarily to see and look after our loved ones.
Until We Meet Again, France
We are in the sixth week of our Coronavirus lockdown in France. Actually, today is Thursday, April 30th, Day 45 of our not so roving retirement in France. The excitement for this week is our current plan to travel to the US next week.
Lockdown, I’ve Lost Count
We have been on lockdown in France for so long that I’ve nearly lost count. To make matters worse, nothing happened this week worth writing about. But I managed.
Groundhog Day Again Week 4 in Lockdown
Every day feels like Groundhog Day, we get up, make coffee, go for a walk or shop, practice French, watch the news, call Mike’s folks, call the kids, share funny things on Facebook, and cook dinner.
