Our next stop in Spain after we left Toledo was Cordoba, which was probably the most memorable town from our first visit to Spain, thirty years ago. The most striking thing in Cordoba is the Mosque, which is today a catholic cathedral.

From Paris to Water Lilies and a Spectacular Cathedral
We decided to take a field trip together to Giverny and Rouen, both for the first time. Giverny was Monet's home and you can visit the water lily pond that he painted so frequently. Rouen has a renowned cathedral and an awesome light show.
