By now, you all know that I broke my leg in November. The healing process is taking longer than we had hoped, hence the limes. So, we are going to Mexico to make Margaritas!
The idea of a roving retirement and being homeless has always been an exciting one for us and it was a happy accident that we started this journey with an around the world tour (Our Big Trip). But so much has happened in the last six months that we thought it would be interesting to look back on our adventure so far.
My friend Beth mentioned that she was concerned with potential scam artists trying to take advantage of her parents. Her parents are in their 80’s and starting to show short-term memory loss. As a result, they sometimes get confused when bills come and don’t always pay them or pay them twice.
Our roving retirement hasn’t been without its mishaps. Any time you travel, you could need a doctor for a sprained ankle, a stomach bug, or in my case, major orthopedic surgery. This article describes some of our experiences.
