Today's article covers a lot of ground, from Cordoba through Malaga and then to Grenada. We actually spent a little over a week on these activities but there wasn't much to say about looking at rocks and visiting friends. So our focus for this week is on Grenada.
Our next stop in Spain after we left Toledo was Cordoba, which was probably the most memorable town from our first visit to Spain, thirty years ago. The most striking thing in Cordoba is the Mosque, which is today a catholic cathedral.
Toledo is a small old city about an hour’s drive south of Madrid. Because our hotel was in the center of town, we got a small tour while driving around trying to find the hotel.

We set off from Madrid on a day trip to El Escorial and Segovia. It took us about an hour to drive thirty miles to El Escorial followed by another hour to Segovia.
