Chiang Mai Thailand was the next stop on our roving retirement Southeast Asia tour. Chiang Mai is a world of contrasts, from great food to mountain top temples, to LadyBoys and Thai kickboxing.

The next stop on our roving retirement was Bangkok. We had about 24 hours in Bangkok, including sleeping, and we sure got a lot done.
Getting Sick of My Clothes – Already?

When I convinced Diana to visit Japan on this trip, an immediate consideration was “can we see sumo?” Sumo showed me that Japanese culture retains some primal aspects, in addition to the refined ones I frequently see.
